Boulevard Trophy & Engraving was founded in 1971, as a small sub-section of a gifts store in the Boulevard Mall. We have grown as Las Vegas has grown, moving out of the mall and expanding into our own storefront in 1976. In 2001 we moved into a brand new 7000 square-foot stand-alone facility at 5007 S. Tamarus St., near Tropicana Ave. and Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas. Over the years, our staff has grown as well.
As owner, Joe is the man in charge, overseeing the operations of the shop as well as helping customers get what they need every day. Joe is always willing to go the extra mile, and has instilled this same sense of unflinching attention to customer service in the rest of the Boulevard Trophy staff. Joe can be found at the shop every day, but also makes frequent visits to customers on location when their needs require it. He's also not beyond helping out with production when a huge job needs everyone to lend a hand.
Misty is the front office face of Boulevard Trophy. In this important role, along with Joe she handles the majority of in-store interaction with customers. Misty also handles invoicing and accounts payable and receivable. Not only is she talented in the showroom, but she can also do almost any job at Boulevard Trophy when crunch time comes and all hands are needed in production.
Sharon is the senior member of the production team, and her years of experience in rotary and laser engraving mean that she is an invaluable asset to the company. She is also our expert in the art of hand engraving, an exacting, time consuming process which she has spent years mastering. As with most Boulevard Trophy employees, her abilities stretch beyond her area of expertise, and she is well-versed not only in the engraving system, but also in nearly every other facet of production including sublimation, trophy assembly and framing, and in front office support and showroom sales as well.
In addition to sharing the laser and rotary engraving duties with Sharon, Mike May is also the person that the shop turns to in order to keep all systems up and running. In a modern trophy and engraving shop such as Boulevard Trophy, this includes 4 rotary bit machines, two laser machines, half a dozen printers and nearly a dozen computers, all of which must be kept running smoothly to meet the customer's needs. His experience also extends to sublimation, trophy assembly, showroom sales and front office support.
Randy is the shop's principal sublimation and thermal printing expert, as well as the top graphic adaptation worker. His experience is put to good use creating and altering customer artwork and adapting stock art to the customer's engraving needs, often seeing projects through to completion on the laser engraving machines. The front office and showroom is also no stranger to his presense.
Mike Rodgers is a vital link in production for most orders that pass through Boulevard Trophy. His production-oriented duties in custom mounting, sandblasting, painting and more ensure that his experience continues to grow as new and different custom work constantly crosses his desk. He is often the important finishing stop for a complicated piece that has already gone through the hands of several others.
Shawn shares back office production duties with Mike Rodgers, including receiving daily shipments of new products, preparing products for other employees to complete, or seeing to completion complicated multi-faceted jobs. He has valuable experience in custom mounting and framing, from small photo framing to very large items measuring several feet across. Like Mike Rodgers, he often has an important role in large portions of our product line.
